Exploring Collaboration at the Cisco Store

Effective collaboration tools are at the heart of good business and good teams. On this week’s episode of Tech Tuesday, our Tech Expert will provide an overview of the Cisco 8865 IP Phone that we have in the Cisco Store, and highlight the capabilities through our Cisco Store Xplorer Augmented Reality application.

To begin with, Brian will explain how using Cisco intelligent proximity on his mobile device, he can import his contacts and call history just by getting near to the IP phone. Additionally, using this feature, calls can be transferred from a mobile device on to the IP phone. This seamless transfer of information from space to space is even more important in a hybrid workplace, where working on the go is more and more common.

When deploying the 8865 IP phone, there is an option for an on premise solution, a hosted solution, or it can even be deployed using Webex calling. The variety of options available make deploying this solution easier than ever.

At the Cisco Store, we have made several enhancements to Cisco Store Xplorer, our augmented reality application, as a way for customers to explore different features of Cisco Store technology through a new lens. On this episode, Brian will show how visitors at the Cisco Store can scan their environment with their mobile device to view product information about the 8865 IP phone, and even call other store locations from their own device.
